Vanilla Crescent Cookies
Ingredients
- 250 grams flour
- 120 grams almond flour
- 125 grams sugar
- 1 tablespoon vanilla sugar
- 0.25 teaspoon baking powder
- 3 egg yolks
- 200 grams butter, cold
- Powdered sugar for coating
Steps
- Mix all ingredients to a firm dough by hand or machine.
- Roll dough into two thick strands.
- Cut portions from the strands.
- Shape each portion into a crescent; place on baking sheet.
- Space cookies adequately for expansion during baking.
- Preheat oven to 200°C (390°F).
- Bake approximately 10 minutes (duration varies by cookie size).
- Cool briefly after baking.
- Sift powdered sugar (optionally mixed with vanilla sugar and almond flour) generously over cookies.
- Cool completely; store in airtight container or serve fresh.
