Vanilla Crescent Cookies

Ingredients

  • 250 grams flour
  • 120 grams almond flour
  • 125 grams sugar
  • 1 tablespoon vanilla sugar
  • 0.25 teaspoon baking powder
  • 3 egg yolks
  • 200 grams butter, cold
  • Powdered sugar for coating

Steps

  1. Mix all ingredients to a firm dough by hand or machine.
  2. Roll dough into two thick strands.
  3. Cut portions from the strands.
  4. Shape each portion into a crescent; place on baking sheet.
  5. Space cookies adequately for expansion during baking.
  6. Preheat oven to 200°C (390°F).
  7. Bake approximately 10 minutes (duration varies by cookie size).
  8. Cool briefly after baking.
  9. Sift powdered sugar (optionally mixed with vanilla sugar and almond flour) generously over cookies.
  10. Cool completely; store in airtight container or serve fresh.
