Ingredients

- 0.5 cup brown sugar

- 0.25 cup cold butter
Steps
- Preheat oven to 425°F (220°C); line muffin tin with paper liners.
- Mash bananas thoroughly in large bowl.
- Add oil and melted butter; stir well.
- Stir in both sugars until combined.
- Add eggs, buttermilk, and vanilla; stir well.
- In separate bowl, whisk together flour, baking powder, baking soda, and salt.
- Gently fold dry ingredients into wet batter (avoid overmixing).
- Fill muffin liners 0.75 full.
- For streusel: combine flour, brown sugar, and salt; cut in cold butter until crumbly. Sprinkle evenly over muffins.
- Bake at 425°F for 8 minutes, then reduce to 350°F (175°C) without opening oven; bake 7-8 additional minutes until toothpick comes out clean.
- Cool before serving.
